VICAM A Waters Business complies with modern requirements for food safety with an easy-to-use, eco-friendly and accurate Afla-V AQUA rapid strip test for the quantification of aflatoxins in corn, peanuts, wheat, soy and sunflower. The test does not require a laboratory setting and gives numerical results for only five minutes. Measurement results are displayed in numeric form on a reader screen, and can then be printed on a printer or transferred to a computer for future storage and processing. Advantage of the Afla-V AQUA test is the use of water only when preparing the sample, eliminating the need to use expensive and environmentally polluting solvents.
Sensitivity of the test and way of working
Afla-V AQUA rapid strip tests use the sensitivity and selectivity of VICAM monoclonal antibodies for precise detection and measurement of Aflatoxins total for B1, B2, G1, G2 at levels from 2 ppb to 100 ppb. Samples preparing procedure requires only water and saves time and materials. The test is performed for less than 5 minutes after sample extraction. The results are displayed on the Vertu ™ Lateral Flow Reader digital display and can be printed and stored on computer.
